CODE BREAKER

Logic & Deduction  •  Grades 3–6
Runs offline. No internet, no logins, no accounts.
Keyboard or touchscreen  •  Chromebook, tablet, laptop, smartboard.

HOW TO PLAY

● The airlock has a secret code made of shapes. Guess it before the oxygen runs out.

● Tap shapes to fill the glowing row, then press LOCK.

● The lock always tells the truth: LOCKED = right shape in the right place. LOOSE = right shape, wrong place.

● It never says which ones. That is your job — every old guess stays on the board so you can work it out.

● Crack it in few guesses for a bigger score. Run out of guesses and the airlock breaches — three breaches ends the mission.

● Keyboard: number keys place a shape, arrows move, Backspace undoes, Enter locks it in.

A lost lock holds for a moment with the real code lit, and that same code comes back a few locks later. Off makes it a quiz instead of a lesson.

“Sound guesses” are guesses that could still have been the code, given the clues already on the board. A guess that contradicts an earlier clue can never be right — it is a wasted turn.
