Snap Shuttle
What students practice
Students practice multiplying and dividing whole numbers, and optionally decimals, by 10 and 100, learning that the decimal point stays fixed while the digits shift.
How to play
Players slide a number's digits left or right with the arrow keys, one bay for times or divide by 10 and two bays for times 100, then press space to snap the digits into place before a comet reaches a beacon. A wrong snap stops the dock while the correct digit placement is shown, and that move returns later; three misses end the mission.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which moves are in play, multiply only, divide only, or all six, switch between whole numbers and decimals, and set the speed and whether the answer appears after a miss; the end screen includes a printable student report of the moves practiced.
