What students practice

Students practice matching Greek and Latin word roots to their meanings, and, optionally, to example words that use them, like tele in telegram.

How to play

Players press the Left/Right arrows to pick a meteor and Space to lock it, matching a root to its meaning before a pair drifts past the seal gate and out the airlock, which costs a shield; pressing S lights every face up again for a moment.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which root families are in play, whether example words are also matched, whether faces stay readable past the seal gate, whether the match is shown on a miss, and the speed; the end screen offers a printable list of matches to practice.
