Premise Probe

Logic and ReasoningSyllogismsGrades 3–6Keyboard

What students practice

Students practice syllogism reasoning, reading two clues and a claim and judging whether the clues prove the claim true (YES), prove it false (NO), or leave it CAN'T TELL.

How to play

Players swing the cannon with the Left and Right arrows and fire with Space, or press 1, 2, or 3 to choose a moon directly, before a comet burns down the fuse; a wrong answer or a burnt fuse costs a shield, and three shields ends the mission.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which syllogism types are in play (starter traps only or all types), whether clues use silly made-up words instead of real-world knowledge, whether the answer is shown on a miss, and the speed; the end screen offers a printable practice list.
