Symbol Strike
What students practice
Students practice typing symbol keys on a US keyboard, choosing the symbol that fills a gap in a line and remembering that each symbol shares a key with a twin, so forgetting Shift types the wrong one, such as 2 instead of at-sign.
How to play
Players press the key for the symbol that fills the gap, holding Shift when needed, to roll a ball into the matching pin before a sweep bar comes down. A wrong key stops the lane and shows the correct key, and that symbol returns later; losing three times ends the game.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which symbols are in play and whether a key hint appears on the board, plus speed and whether the answer is shown after a miss; the end screen offers a printable student report listing the symbols practiced.
