Caps Cruiser
What students practice
Students practice recalling capital cities of states or countries and typing their names correctly, learning that the most famous city, such as Houston or Dallas for Texas, is often not the actual capital.
How to play
Players type the name of the capital city, holding Shift for its capital letter, with each correct letter steering the cruiser toward the matching road sign. Spelling the wrong city closes that road, and reaching the fork without choosing loses a shield; a miss shows the correct capital before it returns later, and three lost shields ends the trip.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which capitals are in play, from all 50 states to world capitals or everything, and turn on a mode that places a famous non-capital city on the other road as the common mistake, plus speed; the end screen offers a printable student report listing the capitals to practice.
