Type Torpedo

What students practice

Students practice the bottom row of the keyboard, typing a word to load a torpedo one letter per segment, with the last letter acting as the trigger.

How to play

Players type a word's letters in order, then press the final letter only once the target cruiser is inside the green firing lane; firing outside the lane means loading the torpedo again. Letting a cruiser's fuse fill costs a shield, and a wrong key stops the action to show the right key and the finger that types it, with that word returning later; three shields end the mission.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher turn on a custom word list of letters only, 2 to 14 per word, plus speed and whether the answer is shown after a miss; the end screen offers a printable student report listing the skills to practice.
