What students practice

Students practice typing speed and accuracy, typing a short phrase one word at a time and pressing the space bar to lock in and fire each word.

How to play

Players type a word and press the space bar to advance, using Backspace to fix a typo before pressing space; finishing the whole phrase warps the ship away, and a faster, cleaner phrase earns a higher words-per-minute score. Getting pulled in three times ends the mission, and a missed word is shown before it comes back later.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose the phrase lists, from starter sight phrases to all lists, turn off backspace fix-ups for an accuracy-first mode, set speed, and turn off showing the word after a miss; the end screen offers a printable student report listing words per minute, accuracy, and the words to practice.
