Angle Armada
What students practice
Students practice measuring and naming angles, working out the angle an order describes and aiming a protractor dial at it to decloak a hidden ship, with angle skills set from grades 3 to 4 through grade 6, or all combined.
How to play
Players use the left and right arrow keys, or A and D, to turn the sight and press the space bar to fire; hitting the correct angle burns the ship, and five hits in a row earn a combo bonus. Letting a ring reach the hull costs a shield, and three shields ends the mission. A miss has the machine show the correct angle before it returns later.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which angle skills are in play, the pace, whether the dial readout number is shown, whether an acute/obtuse hint lights half the dial, and whether the answer is shown after a miss. The end-of-mission report includes a printable list of angles to practice.
