Flash Focus
What students practice
Students practice multiplication as arrays, either filling in a missing factor when the number of rows is given, or finding any factor pair that makes the total, across the 2 through 10 times tables.
How to play
An order such as 24 stars in 4 rows appears; players use the arrow keys, or the ROWS and COLS buttons, to stretch a frame over the star grid until it holds exactly that many, then press FLASH (Space or Enter). Letting three comets pass ends the mission, and a missed array is shown correctly before that one comes back later.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose all times tables from 2 to 10, or narrower sets such as 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 or 6, 7, 8, and 9, and switch orders between Rows Given and Any Shape. A printable student report lists arrays to practice.
