Jigsaw Jet
What students practice
Students practice finding the rule in a pattern grid, whether a shape grid, a skip-counting number row, or a grid of quarter and half turns, to choose the one piece that completes it.
How to play
Players press number keys 1 through 4 to send the jet to a piece, or fly it with the arrow keys and press space to release a piece once it is over the hole, filling the pattern before the glue bar under the grid runs out. A wrong piece shows the correct one and the rule, and that grid returns later; running out of glue time loses a shield.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose the pattern types in play, including shape grids and number rows set to count by a chosen number, plus the speed; the end screen offers a printable student report listing the patterns practiced.
