Slide Solver
What students practice
Students practice ordering numbers, sliding tiles so they read smallest to largest from left to right, top row first, with the empty gap ending in the bottom-right corner.
How to play
Players use the arrow keys to slide a tile, or a whole line of tiles, toward the empty gap, aiming to solve the board in the fewest slides for a par bonus before a fuse burns out. Running out of time shows the correct order and the shortest solution, and that puzzle returns later; three burn-outs end the mission.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose the tile faces by grade, the board size and scramble, helper features such as a goal strip and a glow when a tile is home, and the speed; the end screen includes a printable student report listing the skills to practice.
