What students practice

Students practice building and typing compound words, choosing which of several booster halves joins a rocket's half to form a real word, such as rain plus bow making rainbow.

How to play

Players type the whole compound word as a single word with no space, using Backspace to fix a letter, before the moon sets on the launch window. Picking the wrong pairing shows the real word, and that word returns later; missing three launch windows ends the mission.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose the word sets in play and the speed, from a slower rookie pace with three pods to a faster pace with four, plus whether the real word is shown after a miss; the end screen offers a printable student report listing the words to practice.
