What students practice

Students practice ratios and equivalent ratios, stacking one side of an ore pod to match a stated mix such as 3:2 against an already-loaded side, including scaled-up mixes such as 12 and 8 for a 3:2 ratio scaled by 4.

How to play

Players press the up arrow or plus to load a lump, the down arrow to take one back, and the space bar to send the pod once the mix is correct. Sending five good pods in a row earns a combo bonus; letting three pods reach the crusher ends the shift. A wrong mix has the belt show the correct mix before that pod returns later.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which mixes are in play, the scale-up limit, the question style (including optional group guides that split a pod into visual groups), the speed, and whether the answer is shown after a miss. The end-of-shift report includes a printable list of mixes to practice.
