Border Patrol
What students practice
Students practice recalling which US states border a given state, checking each incoming state against their own on a map.
How to play
Buses arrive painted with a home state; players press LET IN (Y or Enter) if that state borders their own, or TURN BACK (N) if it does not. A wrong call, or a car reaching the gate unchecked, costs one of three shields, and a miss shows every neighboring state before that state returns later.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher limit play to the East Half or West Half of states or use all regions, add Next-Door-But-One trick cars from states one state removed, turn the map's blinking home-state helper on or off, set the speed, and choose whether a miss reveals the answer. A printable student report lists borders to practice.
