What students practice

Students practice facts about famous world rivers and river vocabulary, answering questions about where rivers flow and what they are called.

How to play

A question appears with answers shown as lakes and seas at the bottom; players use the arrow keys to dig a channel, or press 1 through 4 to dig straight to an answer. If the spring overflows before the river lands, or the wrong lake is reached, one of three shields is lost, and a miss shows the answer before it is asked again.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose question sets covering everything, famous rivers only, or river vocabulary only, set the speed, and choose whether a miss reveals the answer. A printable student report lists skills to practice.
