Circuit Solver
What students practice
Students practice AND, OR, and NOT logic gates, setting switches so a lamp ends up on or off as ordered, where AND needs both inputs on, OR needs at least one on, and NOT flips the input, with circuit size and which gates are in play (AND and OR only, or all three) set by a teacher.
How to play
Players press A, B, or C to flip a switch (the board stays dark until powered) and press enter, or POWER, to check the result; a locked switch cannot be moved and must be worked around. Letting a fuse burn down before powering the board costs a shield, and three lost shields ends the shift. A wrong setting has the board freeze to show the fix before that circuit returns later.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which gates are in play, the largest circuit size, whether locked switches appear, the speed, and whether the answer is shown after a miss. The end-of-shift report includes a printable list of circuits to practice, asking students to write the switch settings for a given lamp result.
