What students practice

Students practice decimal place value, flying a pod into the column where a manifest number belongs on a number line that can zoom from whole numbers into tenths and then hundredths, reading numbers that are written as digits, words, or fractions.

How to play

Players use the left and right arrow keys to steer, or press a digit to jump straight to that column. Choosing the wrong column bounces the pod back and shows where the number really sits. Pods left waiting too long cause hull damage, and three hits ends the run; berthing five pods in a row earns a combo bonus.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher set how many decimal places are in play, how high the numbers go, and the speed, which controls how many pods are waiting rather than how fast they move. The end-of-run report includes a printable list of numbers to practice.
