Difference Drone

What students practice

Students practice visual comparison, spotting the one difference between an old scan and a new scan of the same scene, whether it changed color, shape, size, place, turned, vanished, or changed in number.

How to play

Players steer with the arrow keys and press space to select the spot that changed before the scan bar runs out. A missed difference is shown side by side with the original, and that kind of change returns later; missing three differences ends the mission.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which kinds of changes to spot, the number of objects on each scan, and whether the two scans are shown side by side instead of blinking, plus speed and whether the answer is shown after a miss; the end screen offers a printable student report listing the changes practiced.
