Drum Dock
What students practice
Students practice counting rhythms, using grade 3, grade 4, or grades 5-6 note values, by reading a written rhythm, counting it out, and then playing it back exactly.
How to play
Players press Space to drum on every note and stay silent on every rest, locking a docking clamp for each note hit on the right count; missing a rhythm plays the correct counts back, and letting three ships crash ends the mission.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which rhythm values are in play, whether the dock echoes the rhythm first before the student's turn, whether a count helper lights the counts that get a hit, whether the answer is shown on a miss, and the speed; the end screen offers a printable list of rhythms to practice, clapped and counted out loud.
Play it in Starship ArcadeDrum Dock is one of 16 games in the Music room, a members room on the Promenade.
