Island Index
What students practice
Students practice identifying world islands from clues about where they are, which country they belong to, famous facts, or island vocabulary such as atoll and archipelago.
How to play
A clue names an island; players steer with the arrow keys (or WASD) to sail a full lap around the matching island, which charts it into the index. Charting too slowly, hitting a wave, or circling the wrong island costs one of three life rings, and a miss shows the right island before it is asked again later.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose clue sets built around location, country ownership, famous facts, or vocabulary, set the speed, and choose whether a miss reveals the answer. A printable student report lists islands to practice.
