Globe Glider
What students practice
Students practice locating continents, oceans, and map lines such as the equator, prime meridian, tropics, and Arctic Circle, answering from the place's name or from a descriptive clue.
How to play
A glider flies on its own and wraps around the map; players steer with the left and right arrow keys (or A and D) and press Space to drop a delivery on the named place. A wrong drop shows the right location and the order returns later; three lost deliveries end the flight, and five in a row earns a combo bonus.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which places are in play (continents only for grade 3, adding oceans and map lines for grades 5-6), whether orders are written as names or clues, whether place names show on the map, the game speed, and whether a miss reveals the answer. A printable student report lists places to practice.
