Scale Shuttle

What students practice

Students practice major scales and the whole step/half step pattern that builds every one of them, W W H W W W H, where black keys count, hopping a shuttle up a piano keyboard one note at a time.

How to play

Players steer with the Left/Right arrows and press Space to land on a key; every hop burns fuel, running dry costs a shield, and landing on the wrong key has the machine count the steps out before the scale returns later.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which major scales are in play (C only, C/G/F, sharp keys, or all eight), whether the W W H W W W H flight plan is shown, whether the answer is shown on a miss, and the speed; the end screen offers a printable list of steps to practice.
