Story Spark
What students practice
Students practice story order and sequencing, hopping to whichever event happens first, then next, to leave a trail that rebuilds a jumbled story's correct order, with story packs selectable (story only, or how-to and science) and four or five events per story depending on grade.
How to play
Players use the arrow keys and the space bar, or press 1 through 6, to pick an event, with the up and down arrows switching between multiple stories arriving at once. Some rounds include an extra event that never happened, which should be left unpicked. A wrong pick has the sky show what happens next before that story returns later.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which story packs are in play, how many events are in each story, whether a never-happened extra event is included, the speed, and whether the correct order is shown after a miss. The end-of-mission report includes a printable list of stories to practice.
