What students practice

Students practice telling conductors from insulators and complete circuits from open ones, including spotting short circuits made by a bare wire straight across the cell.

How to play

Each branch holds a part; players press the number key (1 through 6) for a branch, then press the up arrow or Space to throw the lever if the part conducts, or the down arrow to swap out a part that does not. Powering a short circuit blows a fuse, letting a branch's meter empty blacks out the block, and three fuses end the shift.

Teacher Setup

Teacher Setup lets a teacher focus on materials (conductors versus insulators), faults (complete loop versus open circuit), or add bare-wire short-circuit branches as fuse hazards, plus set the speed and choose whether a miss reveals the answer. A printable student report lists parts to practice.
