Weather Watch
What students practice
Students practice weather topics including clouds and rain, tools and the water cycle, and fronts and storms, choosing a single topic or all of them.
How to play
A wind-driven dial spins on its own; players hold Space to brake it, since the needle coasts further after a stronger spin, aiming to stop on the lit forecast slip's answer. Letting a slip's time run out costs one of three watch lights, and a miss shows the answer on the dial before it is asked again later.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose All Topics, Clouds and Rain, Tools and Water Cycle, or Fronts and Storms, set the speed of arriving slips, turn off the green stop-marker helper once students can judge the coast themselves, and choose whether a miss reveals the answer. A printable student report lists skills to practice.
