Grammar Galaxy
What students practice
Students practice sentence grammar, linking a lit anchor word to its match in the same sentence, such as an adjective to its noun, an adverb to its verb, or a pronoun to the noun it stands for, with pairs selectable by part of speech and sentences kept short if needed.
How to play
Players use the arrow keys to fly a tether drone and press the space bar to link the two words, with up and down jumping between sentences. Linking five pairs in a row earns a combo bonus; letting three sentences through the wormhole ends the mission. A wrong link has the galaxy show the correct pair before that sentence returns later.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which word pairs are in play (all five parts of speech, sentence parts, or pronouns only), the sentence length, the speed, and whether the answer is shown after a miss. The end-of-mission report includes a printable list of skills to practice.
