Melody Maker
What students practice
Students practice solfege patterns (do, re, mi through a full scale, or pentatonic sets), pinning each note of a melody to its rung on a ladder from low do to high do.
How to play
Players press the drum row or ladder, or number keys 1 through 8 or the letters d r m f s l t, to pin each note before the card reaches the comb; a card that reaches the comb unfinished costs a shield, three shields ends the mission, and a wrong pin shows the correct rung.
Teacher Setup
Teacher Setup lets a teacher choose which notes are in play, how the melody is written (ladder labels, numbers, or solfege with only-do counting), the melody length, whether the answer is shown on a miss, and the speed; the end screen offers a printable list of melodies to practice.
